Join us for this educational opportunity with Ann Clement, Wyoming Chapter Director of the Alzheimer's Association. This is an excellent training to learn the skills to recognize and support customers, employees, and others who are affected by Alzheimer's or dementia.
Did you know 70% of people with dementia live in their homes in their communities? We believe people with Alzheimer's and dementia have a right to enjoy a good quality of life and continued involvement in their local community so far as they are willing and able to do so. Stores, restaurants, and other businesses can be places of safety, compassion and support for people who have this progressive disease.
We'll discuss ways you can identify if someone is having an issue potentially related to Alzheimer's disease or another dementia, and provide tactics to address concerns in a supportive manner. We will also discuss ways employers can support their employees who may be providing care for a loved one, or perhaps displaying some concerning behaviors themselves.
