Studio Theatre at CCPA will present John Cariani’s quirky and romantic comedy Almost, Maine, January 20 - 22, 2023 at the Cody Center for the Performing Arts. The show will begin at 7:00 pm on Friday and Saturday with a matinee performance on Sunday at 2 pm.
Almost, Maine is one of the most produced plays in the country, and is a frequent selection for colleges and high schools because of its several short vignettes. The play is set in the mythical town of Almost, Maine where on a cold, clear night in January, nine love stories unfold under the awe-inspiring beauty of the northern lights. Almost, Maine has a fable-like quality giving us both hilarious and melancholy lessons on love, longing, friendship and hope. Directed by Bethany Sandvik, Almost, Maine is a true rom-com for the stage.
