Our January 11 presentation discusses the evolution of medical services from crude frontier medicine to the creation of full-fledged hospital facilities. Traveling doctors and makeshift infirmaries were often the only options for many early Big Horn Basin residents, but as Cody grew so did its resources, and soon a number of medical operations were created to serve the healthcare needs of the community.
Join Park County Archivist Brian Beauvais, Flight Paramedic Tom Fitzsimmons, and retired nurse Pat Bragg for a look at the evolution of medical services in the Big Horn Basin.
