Event Description:
Dear Sirs is a documentary film about understanding our collective history by connecting with those closest to us. Despite working with him for years, Wyoming filmmaker Mark Pedri never learned the details of his grandfather’s experiences as a WWII Prisoner of War. Ten years after Sgt. Silvio’s death, Mark found an incredible archive of photos and letters which inspired him to bike over 800km across Europe to retrace his grandfather’s harrowing journey and better understand the man who raised him. Following the screening there will be a Q+A with the film makers. Travel with Mark and Carrie as they travel the way of his grandfather 75 years later.
