Event Description:
The “In Their Shoes” event was inspired by a veteran’s wife to Honor those who bravely serve our community and country, to recognize and honor first responders and veterans by raising money for 3 local organizations: The Clark Volunteer Fire Dept, for their valiant efforts in fighting the Robertson Draw Wildfire in 2021 and more, the Clark Pioneer Rec Center - which opens to the community as a refuge during emergency situations and the Downrange Warriors – a veteran’s organization whose mission is suicide prevention of veteran’s through many venues, one being an amazing trauma healing course.

9am Opening Ceremonies - Admission FREE: Event participation fees/donations are listed below.
9am to 11pm – Car Show - $20.00 registration (donation requested) per entry – Event held at the Fire Station across the street from the Rec Center
9:30 to 2pm – 17-mile Canyon run $35.00 registration (donation requested) per contestant
10:00 – 1 mile Walk/Run $10.00 registration (donation requested) per contestant
11:00am to 12:30pm – Pie Judging Contest $5.00 registration (donation requested) per pie entered
1pm – Watermelon Eating Contest $5.00 registration (donation requested) per contestant
All day: Food Trucks, Silent Auction, Clark Mart – $30.00 registration (donation requested) per 8’x8’ space with table, and Live Entertainment.
