Event Description:
On June 4, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department invites anglers to celebrate Free Fishing Day. Each year, the Game and Fish designates the first Saturday of National Boating and Fishing Week as a free fishing day when anyone can fish in Wyoming — Wind River Reservation and Yellowstone National Park excluded — without a fishing license.
Free fishing poles for the first 300 kids to register. All kids get a free lunch. Prizes awarded for 40 best fish caught at 1pm! (must be present to win.)
Watch fish stocking at 11am.
Catch a tagged fish and win a lifetime conservation stamp.
Grand Prize: 2 person inflatable kayak!
