Event Description:
The Cody Library will host Ron Dube, a retired wilderness outfitter, Wyoming Outdoor Hall of Fame inductee, and founder of the World Championship Elk Calling Contest. Dube will present a lecture and slide show celebrating the 50th anniversary of a 1975 Thorofare hunting trip with Glenn and Alice “Queen of the Thorofare” Fales. The event will showcase images and stories of the Absaroka Mountains, featuring the wildlife, landscapes, and adventures of a remote hunting camp.
