Event Description:

In this "Local Lore" program, Bob Richard presents content and photographs from his latest book: The Spirit of Yellowstone Bears. The book is about feeding the bears in Yellowstone in the early days and includes photographs by Ned Frost, Jack Richard, and Bob Richard of black bears, grizzly bears, and cinnamon bears in Yellowstone, the Yellowstone ecosystem, and a few other spectacular photographs taken from the car from 1905 through to today’s interactions. Always remember safety first when photographing any wildlife!

Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances, this is a change from our originally scheduled program, The Simpson Family.

These illustrated presentations have become so popular that we are introducing a slight modification. As an added perk of your Center membership, members can register for free and enjoy priority seating. Paid Center visitors can also register for free. While non-members and walk-ins are always welcome, they must also register and pay a nominal fee of $10, which supports our speaker programming.
