  • About

Nestled in the heart of the Shoshone National Forest, our ranch sits along Yellowstone Highway. Whether you are touring Yellowstone National Park or visiting Cody, Wyoming you'll find Bill Cody Ranch's setting perfect for your solo getaway or your family vacation. Horseback riding, fishing, and hiking are just a few of the activities that our guests enjoy daily. With seventeen unique cabins, an on-site restaurant, the largest horseback riding facility on the North Fork, and a friendly staff, we are sure you will feel right at home.

The Bill Cody Ranch originated as the Lazy Bar H Ranch owned by Leonard Morris, a Hollywood movie actor in the early-mid 1900's. The original Lodge was meant to be ''typical of Western life, with its Navajo rugs, Indian curios, hunting trophies, huge fireplaces and unusually comfortable furnishings.''

Today we strive to maintain the lodge's historical presence and provide an atmosphere that helps our guests relax and truly enjoy the company or their friends and family. In the main lodge you will find the reservation desk, dining room, Saddlesore Saloon, gift shop and the Wyoming Suite, one of our seventeen unique cabins.

Dining at the Ranch: we're open to our guests and to the public every morning from May 11-September 24 for breakfast & dinner.

Book online or call or e-mail us today.
